Primark haul
I was in town yesterday and had some time to kill. I decided to pop into Penny’s/Primark to see if I could find a lint roller. Needless to say, I came out with more items than intended! Primark is one of my favourite shops. They focus on providing items that are trending but at a cheaper price. I noticed they have started doing dupes of bigger brands. Also, if you enjoy homeware shopping, they have a tasteful selection of room decor. I don’t feel too guilty when I purchase their items. Even if I spend a lot, I know that each item wasn’t over-priced. I only spent €10.50 in total. Here is what I bought:
Most of you will probably be very familiar with Glam Glow. Many celebrites have taken selfies using the mud mask from this brand. I have never tried the product but I have heard a lot of great things about it. However, i’m not the sort of person who would spend astronomical prices on skin care. While, I do own higher end skin care products from Bobbi Brown I just don’t think I would spend $69.00 on a face mask. Unless I tried it out of course and discovered that the product was really worth it, then perhaps I would save up. Anyways, I came across the Primark dupe ‘Love To Glow’ so I decided that I would give it a go. After all, it is only €3.50!
I picked up a set of 3 face cloths for €2.50. Primark is fantastic for home basics. They look luxurious, feel very soft and you don’t have to break the bank. These towels come in a variety of tones. If you have a colour scheme that you wish to stick to, fear not, Primark will have a shade that suits!
I bought a pair of black jeans recently that are notorious for gathering lint! Lint rollers have always been an essential in my fashion emergency kit. Penny’s sell really pretty ones with cute patterns. This standard size roller was only €1.50. It also has a plastic cover, which is so practical for travel.
I purchased a miniature one for €1. Unfortunately, it didn’t come with a cover. I opted for a mini roller as they take up less space and will fit into my evening bags .
This hanger cost me €2.50. It’s purpose is to hang accessories. I will be using it to hang belts and vests. I am currently cleaning out my wardrobe and so as I am attempting to organise my items, this hanger is very practical.
If you are looking to really give your wardrobe a makeover, then pick up one of these Scented Wardrobe Sachets for €2.50. I have never seen anything like these before. They’re a brilliant idea! I bought the Jasmine fragrance but if that isn’t your thing, they also have sachets in Vanilla, Rose and Lavender. They look so pretty and will leave your clothes smelling fresh. I will probably pick up few more of these, perhaps in different scents, so I can change them around.
